Former Cowboys Hall of Fame cornerback and current Colorado head football coach Deion Sanders is no stranger to making headlines.

He’s been making a few more with his choice of outfits in the lead-up to the 2023 college football season and Colorado’s opening game against No. 17 TCU in Fort Worth.

Sanders, about to kick off his first season with the Buffs, has gone viral a couple of times due to his flashy Colorado practice-wear — much of which, according to a piece by WFAA’s Joe Trahan and Andrew Cely, comes from Aubrey resident Robert Buck, who runs his ‘Hoodies+Slides’ apparel company out of his garage and sells “premium handmade hoodies and joggers.” A video of Sanders dancing in a Colorado hoodie made by Buck recently garnered over 100,000 likes on Instagram.

Buck also designed clothing for Sanders when he was the coach at Jackson State.

None of this is surprising for the always-stylish Prime Time, who of course made famous the phrase “You look good, you play good. You play good, they pay good.”

Sanders’ Buffaloes will take on the TCU Horned Frogs in the season opener on Saturday. TCU, coming off a national championship berth last season, is favored by 20.5 points, but the game still makes for an interesting matchup after all the offseason hype surrounding Sanders and Big 12-bound Colorado.
