Big Country’s Pet of the Week | Idaho | bigcountrynewsconnection.com – bigcountrynewsconnection.com

Each week we shine a spotlight on animals at local shelters that are looking for their forever home.

This week’s Big Country Pet of the Week is JoJo.

Jojo

Jojo is waiting to meet her new family at the Humane Society of the Palouse. She is a 70 lbs, approximatley 2-years-old, spayed, 70lbs, husky-pitbull mix. Described by shelter staff as a sweet girl has a big bark and an even bigger heart.

JoJo is a lover of all people and lives to please her human friends. She is a smart cookie, already knowing how to sit, speak, and shake on command. Despite her size, JoJo is a gentle dog who takes treats softly. She has a happy disposition and seems eager to learn. She enjoys playing fetch, and would really appreciate some tougher chew toys to gnaw on!

JoJo has previously lived with other dogs and done well, but we aren’t sure how she would get along with cats. JoJo will be required to meet any dogs in the home prior to leaving HSoP. Every adoption comes with a seven-day foster period to ensure it’s a good fit for the whole family! She will need daily exercise to help burn off her big dog energy. JoJo makes new friends with ease and would love to spend time with her future family. If you’re an adventurer, JoJo will be right by your side every step of the way!
