Airship Syndicate Is Polishing Up Wayfinder Ahead Of Its Early … – MMOs.com

Airship Syndicate continues to address player feedback from the last Wayfinder beta test in preparation for the action MMO’s impending launch this summer. In their latest dev blog, the team looks back at the recently concluded playtest and offers insight into some of the key changes coming to the game in time for its release.

Some of the more notable changes that came with the patch include adjustments to sliding movement, fixes for targeting issues, enhanced defensive skills, a more streamlined progression system, additional skill customization options, better long-term progression, additional enemy types, and more.

The team also plans to overhaul the game’s social system. By default, players will be placed in their respective region’s chat, facilitating better coordination and communication for activities like Lost Zone expeditions. Global chat will still be available, but it won’t be the default chat upon logging in.

Localized chats will also be introduced allowing players who speak the same language to connect with one another. Language preferences can be selected manually. Players can also expect improved spam detection and the ability to resize the chat window for better readability.

Another noteworthy change is the ability for players to take on three-person challenges as a duo. The difficulty of the challenge, however, will remain the same. You can find out more about the upcoming beta update on the Wayfinder official site and in the new developer video below.
