I am sure that this film was made with great care and love, BUT what I think was most lacking was the Breathing. Opera singers learn to control their breath in order to enslave us. And I agree with other less favorable reviews that the opening scene was definitely a bad example of lip-syncing, especially since I didn’t see Ms. Jolie breathe! Sure, La Calla lived a glamorous life, but I felt the focus was more diverted. to this film video. This is a film that I couldn’t watch all the way through, and for that I apologize.
