Europe’s Defence Funding Gap

Europe is pledging hundreds of billions to defense, yet almost none of the venture capital funding the technology behind it originates from European sources. Since 2019, the US has captured approximately 85 percent of all NATO defense-tech venture funding, according to the founders of a new fund launched today. Europe accounts for a mere 6.2 percent.
