SoftBank’s Continued Investment in Robotics

SoftBank appears to be on a mission to acquire robots. According to Bloomberg, the Japanese conglomerate is in early discussions to invest approximately $800 million (€700 million) in Agile Robots, a Munich-based startup specializing in robot arms, warehouse machinery, and humanoids. SoftBank would commit over $300 million to this round, sources familiar with the matter reveal.

This news continues a trend of SoftBank’s investment in robotics technology, as reported by The Next Web.
