Dutch Uptmz Acquired by Aizy to Build One AI Ad Platform Across Google, Microsoft, and Meta

The year-old Dutch startup Aizy has acquired a seven-year-old performance-marketing platform Uptmz, betting on the demand for an integrated AI ad solution across various channels.
Most startups focus on survival in their initial year, but Aizy has made a bold move by acquiring a company older than itself. The acquisition merges two competing platforms into one comprehensive system serving over 600 customers.
The combined platform offers advertising services across Google, Microsoft, and Meta, combining Uptmz’s automation software with Aizy’s AI optimization and its team of performance specialists. Although financial terms were not disclosed, customers will now have the option to self-manage campaigns, seek specialist support, or outsource the entire process.
Uptmz, originally a spin-off from the Dutch agency group Springbok Group in 2022, is technically robust and scalable, focusing on automation for Google and Microsoft ads. In contrast, Aizy, founded just a year ago, prioritizes AI intelligence and human expertise rather than raw tooling.
"This combination offers us the best of both worlds," said Stefan Nuijten, Aizy’s founder, highlighting user-friendly software alongside strategic AI and human support, positioning the company as a leader in this emerging space. Vincent Stoit, co-founder of Uptmz, agrees that companies now seek multichannel approaches and strategic guidance beyond software alone.
The market shift towards integrated platforms is driving this acquisition. While numerous products optimize specific channels or automate tasks, Aizy aims to provide mid-market advertisers with a complete AI, automation, and specialist support package as a single solution.
Aizy has secured significant funding since its launch, including investments from DeGiro co-founder Gijs Nagel, tech investors Michiel Mol and Joost van der Klooster, and a €2 million injection in February 2026 valuing the company at around €22 million. The Uptmz acquisition represents a strategic move to achieve scale quickly rather than growing organically.
The integration aims to provide a solid foundation for international expansion within Europe’s AI-performance-marketing market, but the true test will be successfully merging two distinct entities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
