Story
In 1961, an unknown 19-year-old Bob Dylan came to New York with his guitar. He establishes relationships with the musical icons of Greenwich Village during his meteoric rise, culminating in a groundbreaking performance that resonated around the world. According to a Collider interview with cinematographer Phaedon Papamichael in October 2020, the recently announced COVID precautions taken by the studios had to put the Bob Dylan film project on the back burner; because of this, Papamichael and director James Mangold moved on to other projects. “I don’t think he’s dead,” he said. said Papamichael about the Chalamet-directed biopic: “But it’s difficult to do in the era of COVID, because it all takes place in small clubs with a lot of extras in historical costumes, so you have a lot of hair and makeup.
