April 8, 2026 – 8:27 am

Narwhal Labs, a Bristol-based AI infrastructure company, has secured €22.9 million in funding and unveiled DeepBlue OS, its autonomous communications platform. Narwhal AI, their subsidiary, develops infrastructure for autonomous conversations across various channels like voice, SMS, email, and WhatsApp, catering specifically to regulated industries.

An Autonomous Communication Operating System

Narwhal Labs describes DeepBlue OS as an operating system designed for autonomous customer interactions. It covers inbound reception, swift responses, and outbound prospecting from a unified multi-channel system.

Luke Sartain, the company’s founder and CEO, who previously led Narwhal Media Group, a digital marketing tech business, now steers Narwhal Labs towards AI infrastructure. His transition from marketing services to building foundational autonomous systems reflects a shift in focus.

A Focus on ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Compliance

Narwhal Labs prioritizes security with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance, essential for its target customers in regulated industries. The platform automates multi-step workflows, including lead qualification, inbound inquiry responses, outbound prospecting, and escalating or closing deals at opportune moments without human intervention.

Launching DeepBlue OS: A Standalone Product

The launch of DeepBlue OS formalizes this capability as a standalone product, emphasizing the potential for AI to revolutionize customer-facing operations by executing structured executive and commercial tasks autonomously.
