Paladin EnviroTech Acquires ICT: Dominating European ITAD Market
April 7, 2026 – 5:27 pm
In short:
Paladin EnviroTech, a leading deep tech company, has acquired ICT, Ireland’s first R2v3-certified IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) provider, marking a significant step in its €60 million (€70 million) acquisition spree over nine months. This move positions the company to handle the growing demand for hardware disposal from Dublin’s data center cluster.
When old servers powering Europe’s cloud infrastructure reach the end of their life, Paladin EnviroTech ensures secure and compliant disposal, protecting sensitive data and valuable materials.
The Acquisition:
On April 7, 2026, the Tampa-based company finalized the acquisition of ICT, bringing its total investment across five acquisitions to €60 million ($70 million).
"ICT is a strong legacy organization in the ITAD space… This acquisition strengthens our ability…", said Brian Diesselhorst, CEO of Paladin EnviroTech.
ICT: A Leader in Irish ITAD
ICT, founded in Dublin in 2003, has processed over 2,000 tonnes of end-of-life electronics and shredded more than 500,000 data-bearing devices in the past year alone. Their R2v3 certification, the first awarded to an Irish ITAD provider, is backed by stringent ISO audits and adherence to EU regulations for cross-border waste shipment.
Operational Excellence:
What sets ICT apart is its commitment to in-house processing. Their mobile shredding vehicle ensures data security, as clients don’t rely on third parties for destruction. This model extends across their full service portfolio, including IT asset remarketing, electronics recycling, and data center decommissioning.
"ICT has always been focused on trust… At a time when data risk…", stated Eva Warren, CEO of ICT.
Following the acquisition, ICT will transition to the Paladin EnviroTech brand and move to a new 52,000 sq. ft. processing facility in Dublin.
