Windsor EV Leads Again As JSW-MG Motor’s March 2026 Sales Grow 19%

JSW MG Motor India closed March 2026 with wholesale dispatches of 6,528 units, a 19 percent year-on-year improvement over the same month in 2025. This is the company’s strongest March performance since the JSW Group acquired a stake and renamed the business in 2023.

The Windsor EV has been the driving force behind this success, accounting for 61 percent of MG’s total volumes from October 2024 to September 2025. While monthly sales have fluctuated, the Windsor remains the top-selling model. In February 2026, it sold 2,599 units, while the Comet EV, priced between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 10.57 lakh, contributed 699 units.

The Hector Resurgence

The Hector has also seen a remarkable comeback, selling 1,204 units in February 2026, up 133.8 percent year-on-year. This surge is partly attributed to March discounting, with significant incentives on the pre-facelift model, including a Rs 1,05,000 retail incentive and exchange and loyalty bonuses.

ZS EV Performance and Price Hike

In contrast, the ZS EV, priced between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 21 lakh, has shown more inconsistent sales. It sold 1,093 units in January and 344 in February. JSW MG Motor India has also implemented a price increase of up to 2 percent across its standard portfolio from April 1, 2026, citing rising input costs.
