New KTM RC450 Twin Cylinder Sportsbike Makes A Whopping 56 Bhp

The Austrian motorcycle manufacturing giant KTM has unveiled the highly anticipated RC 450 in China, marking its entry into the twin-cylinder 450cc supersport category. This new model boasts a powerful parallel-twin engine capable of producing a staggering 56 bhp.
KTM RC 450 Specs:
- Engine: 449cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin, 270-degree crankshaft, slipper and assist clutch, load-sensitive quickshifter.
- Power & Torque: 56 bhp, 39 Nm.
- Top Speed: 195 kmph.
- Weight: 168 kg (kerb).
The RC 450 shares components with the CFMoto 450SR and CFMoto 450SR-S, but offers higher power, lower weight, and a different tuning and ride feel.
Features:
- Trellis frame, single-sided aluminium swingarm.
- WP Apex USD front forks, rear monoshock, 320mm front disc brake, dual-channel ABS.
- Bosch electronics suite (ABS, traction control, ride modes, cruise control), TFT screen, heated grips (optional).
In terms of design, the RC 450 reflects its sibling, RC 990, with a sharp and angular fairing, front winglets, and a track-focused stance.
Price: CNY 34,999 (approximately Rs 4.7 lakh).
India Launch? While current reports suggest it’s China-specific, there’s a chance we might see the RC 450 in India later.
